[ 1998 - Manowar releases the "Kings of Metal" album (my favorite), Helloween finishes "The Keeper Of The Seven Keys" and a bunch of other interesting things happen - but I am occupied with the school's grades and desire to get some access to computers (which is tough - in school there is only a chance to work on old PDP/11 once a week) ]

18 years old (1992)

[ No worries, I did not become a KGB agent
Just a side work as a stunt at the national movie studio
The funniest thing is that one day they ddi not send the buses to take us back to the studio, so I actually went like this via public transportation across the whole city. That was some fun to watch people's reaction. ]

20 years old (1994).

[ I just got my first "real" job and they sent me for a training to Austria. No, I did not buy the Mercedes (it is a bit difficult to do that with the salary of $220/month ), this is my boss' car.]

[ Kiev.
After 2.5 years of study (1 day per week) I am about to swear the oath to the Ukrainian military forces and become a "reserve officer". (This is the most legitimate way to avoid the draft )
PS All this time while I live in Czech Republic and USA - apparently I am still "enlisted" and recently I have even been promoted to the senior leutenant.]

22 years old (1996)

[ Just a little time left before my departure to the land of capitalism - in December I moved to Czech Republic. ]

25 years old (1999)

[ I was lucky enough in my first evening in Prague to meet Rebecca.]

[ In Czech Reublic very fast I managed to "supersize me" on a diet of dumplings, beer and other "simple joys of life". These were the fun times, when I got a chance to meet a lot of new people from all around Europe.]

28 years old (2002)

[ Also in Prague I met my future colleagues in PortaOne, people with whom you can never be bored .]

[ We finally moved to the US in December 2002. during our "Farewell, Ukraine" tour I managed to abosultely legally make a picture of us in front of the secret anti-air defence complex "Buk", which I have studied while in the university.]

[ By 2003 I managed to nearly return to my normal weight. No, not using the special procedures like on this picture. Simply by jogging, working out, drinking much less beer than I would like to and not eating too much or too late.]

[ New job role, new challenges, new image - so I finally had to cut off my pony-tail permanently.]

[ I tried diving, and I love it - now the only problem is to find enough time for all my hobbies!]

[ During a few years I have been working for PortaOne I managed to accumulate a whole set of passports (all Ukrainian and all in my name - so I am not quite the guy in "Bourne Identity"). But it is fun to track how I changed by looking at the photos. ]

32 years old (2006)

[ 2006 is almost over... I have put a checkmark by yet another of "1001 things to do before you die" - visited the Oktoberfest.]

[ Skiing at Lake Tahoe, California. Sometimes I dream of having a nice house (with high-speed Internet access) up in the mountains and living there the whole winter: skiing in the morning and working in the afternoons.]

34 years old (2008)

[ A year full of events - together with my friends I made a road-trip across the whole country, I traveled abroad, I climbed Mt. Rainier, I got my American passport and I became single again. ]

36 years (2010)

[ I have relocated my new family to US and in September we got married. (At first we have almost decided on September 11th as the wedding date , but then actually moved it to the 19th]
